Sometimes, some people make it easy to forgive them.  Nothing like a complete reversal of your formerly heinous position to inspire forgiveness and compassion.  Decades after "Segregation now. Europeans are the ones who gave white people a bad name.  But now they have ceased to fight among themselves and shown how permanent peace can work.  If France and England can stop fighting, anyone can.
